Shutters in
the roof area
For simple airflow in the roof HSR Heutrocknung offers exceptional quality shutters. We offer the appropriate shutters for each dehumidifier and each fan. We are delighted to manufacture the shutters to size for special solutions.

Our premium shutters have additional edge protection, in order to produce a tighter seal. This prevents air escaping near the lamellae and pushing them open. A robust support cylinder ensures improved lift performance and guarantees a long working life for the shutters.

Operating conditions
The shutters are suitable for the entire roof area, whether they are installed directly in front of the dehumidifier as a recirculating air flap, in order to guide the airflow through a 2-way or 3-way system or in the roof area for roof extraction. The shutters are also useful for the exhaust air window or in ridge ventilation.
Simple installation
Simple installation
The outstanding feature of the shutters is their ease of assembly on site. Once successfully positioned, the shutters must be appropriately enclosed and connected to the power supply. With shutters there is no need to mount a support cylinder and end stops.
2-way v. 3-way system
2-way system
2-way system
The two shutters regulate the air flow between fresh and recirculating air.
In the case of recirculating air the shutter is blocked behind the dehumidifier and only the air from the roof is used. In this instance the prerequisite for an efficient drying plant is low humidity in the roof air.

3-way system
3-way system
In the 3-way system the central control system decides whether to guide the roof air directly into the haystack or whether it needs to be dehumidified first of all by means of the air dehumidifier (#2).
Therefore, with this system roof extraction can be used even more effectively.
In this process the decision, as to which airway is the most efficient, is taken by the SPS control system by means of the HX diagram. It is not only the temperature and humidity of the roof air that is significant; the storage capacity of the air in the roof is of prime importance.
