Biomass wood chip stove

With the system extension of a biomass wood chip stove, we add to our rich product range of additional heat input. Our water: air (H2O AIR) wood chip stoves are especially safe, since the heat transfer takes place via hot water, meaning there is a separation between the firing and the air flow (= hay barn).

System expansion biomass hot water wood chip oven

A water/air system, modern and energy-efficient, highly reliable in operation with frost-protected hot water. An insulated district heating pipeline prevents heavy heat losses while a hot water heating coil for heating the air upstream of the fan guarantees fire-safe heating of the drying air.

A variety of potential applications for the mobile wood chip stove compact system

The energy used, generated by wood chips, is indirectly introduced into our HSR system using a hot water heating coil upstream of the fan. This prevents direct heating up of the drying air through the wood chip stove and ensures additional safety, as no sparks can reach the hay to be dried directly from the combustion chamber via the hot water.

Our hot-water woodchip biomass stove is also controlled by our Vario central control of the HSR dehumidifier. For example, even growing operations with existing drying can achieve faster recirculation heating, which results in a PLUS in drying performance. The energy utilised in the recirculation process is usually reused 20 to 40 times an hour by the dehumidifier, by means of heat recovery from the cold condensation water that flows off.

A rapid temperature increase of 10 degrees and above in the recirculation system, along with a rapid temperature increase in the starting phase, causes a significant increase in water separation at the dehumidifier. A logical addition to our HSR drying systems. Especially as we have been using existing woodchip heating, biogas and also generator waste heat with louvres and heating registers in a targeted, controlled manner for drying for several years now.

The range of our biomass wood chip stoves includes the three standard sizes of 120kW, 170 kW and 220 kW with up to 10 m3 wood chip capacity. If a larger design is required, we would be delighted to offer you a large hot water wood chip stove to suit your requirements.

A one-stop solution from HSR

Many farmers operate a forestry business and would like to use their own wood as a highly cheap energy source for drying hay and other goods in a reliable, non-hazardous manner with a hot water stove. Often, the existing power connection is not enough to connect a sufficiently large drying unit to the mains. Our customers can choose between two types, a power generator with a waste heat concept or our product extension, a hot water wood chip stove.

There are several designs for the hot water wood chip stove. The heating coil can be fitted with a fan and delivered ready-installed as a mobile container. A large air hose is used to transport the heated air to a drying unit or a fan. A well-known system of the air/air wood chip stoves. In addition, the mobile container can be equipped with a pre-installed buffer tank.

There are a multitude of different connection options here. The potential usages of the hot water wood chip stove cannot be limited to drying only. Feeding in further district heating pipes to heat workshops, halls or stables results in a multitude of other possible uses.

Even for those businesses that choose cold ventilation with a wood chip stove as the first or expansion stage for their drying, our in-house planning department or partners have the advantage of ensuring that no major and costly conversion work is needed to manage the subsequent installation of a dehumidifier. Just like our central control, the HSR cold ventilation control also offers optimum fully automatic control of our product innovation, the hot water biomass wood chip stove. Our HSR Connect module also provides the ideal overview and remote control via mobile phone, tablet or PC with this variant.
