Vario Elite Air dehumidifier
More power for the farmer
HSR brings state-of-the-art technology right into your farmyard. With the new Vario Elite air dehumidifier we provide a high end solution, which continuously adjusts the air dehumidifier to the current conditions and the power requirement from the fan thanks to the integral frequency converter. This means that the cooling system cannot ice up and the machine ceases switching off because of too high temperatures. Since the compressor and therefore the whole system is automatically reduced when there is too little air flow or the temperature is too low, power savings of up to 45% are possible! This also increases life expectancy!
The volumes of condensed water can be attained only with specially laminated and incised lamellae, spaced 2 mm apart; our HSR driers do exactly this. Wider lamellae cause increased air flow with no condensation.

The HSR dehumidifier is available as four models. VARIO ELITE, VARIOs and VARIOe, and ECO. All dehumidifiers are equipped with a frequency converter. Furthermore, all VARIO dehumidifiers also have the following advantages:
All the compressors we use are suitable for use with FCs (frequency converters) and come from the reputable manufacturers GEA Bock and Danfoss. They can be serviced and are designed to cover a wide frequency range.
Unique waste heat concept
The integrated central control and the FC are cooled by cooled air from the evaporator. The waste heat from the control and FC is in turn used for heating. In this way, you benefit from free energy (approx. 0.5 kW).
Anaconda conduits prevent vibration transfer from the compressor to the piping. This prevents tearing of the welded joints. The high-quality copper piping also prevents vibration transfer to the casing.
2 large distributor heads
Depending on the construction, HSR dehumidifiers have 68 to 83 distribution pipes. These are made from up to 336 horizontal pipes, which ensure even distribution of the refrigerant on the dehumidifier surface.
2 mm lamella spacing
1 m² lamella surface is required for 1 m³ hay. We are able to build a small but powerful dehumidifier thanks to the low distance of only 2 mm between the lamellae. Low lamella spacing is crucial, especially during the final drying.
Inflow and outflow of refrigerant
The refrigerant flows in and out over the entire coil height. This guarantees that the temperature at the surface is the same over the whole compressor and that the air is uniformly cooled or warmed.
Every HSR dehumidifier has a frequency converter. This enables the drier to be operated in the ideal frequency range (example: 4-cyl. GEA Bock … 25-69 Hz). Over 10 years of experience with FC technology has turned us into experts.
Large maintenance door
There is a large maintenance door in the back of the machine, which allows easy access for cleaning and servicing. The maintenance door can be locked to make it child-proof. On the front of the machine are windows to the piping.
CPC-regulation (climate control)
To be able to dry even at low indoor temperatures of 10 °C, the hot gas from the condenser to the evaporator is mixed fully automatically and temperature-controlled using CPC regulation. This prevents the coils from icing up.
Fine-meshed dust filter
There is a fine-meshed grid on the inlet side of the HSR dehumidifier. This protects the dehumidifier from drawing in, and becoming clogged by, hay dust and other fine particles. Can be removed using a magnet holder.
PLC central control
The integrated central control regulates the complete drying process fully automatically. Numerous probes represent the basis for efficient drying. You can keep an eye on all the parameters using the graphic interface.
The HSR dehumidifier is encased with 25 mm thick insulating panels. These prevent the generated heat from escaping from the drying process. Protection against “sweating” (condensate formation on the outer surface)
Stainless steel drip tray
The dried off water is caught and removed in the drip tray, which covers the whole floor of the machine. This completely prevents fungal growth in standing water, and makes cleaning the dehumidifier much easier.
The evaporator side is Teflon coated. This means the water can run off even better (as with Teflon pans). The condenser has an ammonia-resistant coating, to protect the lamella against oxidation.
Depending on your structural conditions, we can offer all 19 sizes of our dehumidifier series as LEFT or RIGHT models. The left model has the control on the left and the maintenance door on the right.

Other drying components for successful drying
Shutters with servo-motor
Shutters suitable for all air dehumidifiers and fans are available. A shutter suitable for use as a roof duct, re-circulating air valve and box duct ensures ease of installation and longevity.
For every fan we offer a compatible Y and V switch for simplified channel construction. Prefabricated construction, pre-wired with cylinder installed for easier installation on site.
Because we manufacture in house at our site in Lengau we are also able to produce customised individual solutions. We also have a workshop specifically constructed for this purpose.
