COLD VENTILATION & VALVE CONTROL

We offer cost-effective cold ventilation systems for up to five hay boxes as alternative drying systems without air dehumidifiers. The fan rotational speed can be set from the control system.

Our range includes the following ECO control systems:

Cold ventilation for 5 hay boxes
Cold ventilation for 2 hay boxes
Valve control (for roof flap)

Frequency converter

A frequency converter regulates the dehumidifier compressor and the fan motor to the ideal rotational speed. This allows energy-efficient drying. It is important that both the dehumidifier and the fan have a frequency converter. It is a basic prerequisite that the compressor must be compatible with the frequency converter. This is the case with all HSR dehumidifier series.

HSR sells frequency converters from the well-known manufacturers, Danfoss and Schneider.

For an extra charge we connect frequency converters, which log current consumption. This allows you to determine the efficiency of a drying process with more accuracy.

Heat coil

A supplementary heat coil facilitates more rapid warming. We offer 40 to 1,200 kW heat coils. Several heat coils can be operated in sequence.

The heat coils can be controlled from the central control system and therefore disconnected, if required.

Wood-chip oven and oil heater

For additional heating space heaters and ovens can also be integrated into the drying process. Wood chip heating systems are currently very popular because of the low price of wood chips.

Slotted plate and floor grating

HSR offers a selection of different slotted plates and grids for a variety of material to be dried. From cereals though wood chips, wood, onions, herbs, tea, tobacco, hemp, maize, up to earth and waste, we offer the most diverse of solutions.

Our scope of services also includes special solutions, such as a wood chip drying system combined with round bale drying.

Cleaning agents

Regular cleaning and servicing must be carried out for every air dehumidifier and every hay crane. This is the only way to ensure a problem-free drying process.

We offer a special cleaning agent for the surface cleaning. This can be attached directly on a high-pressure cleaner above the connection pistol.

The cooling technology service can be undertaken by a certified and trusted refrigeration technology firm. If you are not acquainted with one, we will be pleased to put you in touch with one of our partners.

Hay moisture meter

The hay moisture meter from HSR is a quick determination device for measuring the moisture in compressed hay bales and straw bales.

The measurement is taken by piercing the bale with the lance. The moisture value is shown immediately on the display. Available in 1 metre or 2 metre lengths.

Thermal imaging camera

We offer various models of thermal imaging cameras for consistent feeding of the hay box. This enables you to detect "nests" and to avoid the formation of stacks.

Maintenance Agreements

You are welcome to conclude a maintenance agreement with us, in which we agree applicable services, such as servicing, software updates and warranty extensions.

Anemometer

An anemometer allows you to calculate the exact wind speed. We recommend that after every washing cycle and at the start of the hay season you check the dehumidifier. The sensor may have slowed down due to water flow or lengthy down time. False positioning inevitably leads to incorrect measurement values and this in turn ensures that the drying is calculated with an incorrect wind speed, which results in unnecessary energy loss.

Emergency generator

With a fuel-oil-powered emergency generator, you can work independently of the mains. An emergency generator is also recommended if you do not yet have a power connection required for the dehumidifier. Many companies run their fan via the existing power connection and connect the dehumidifier via the emergency power unit.

We offer emergency power generators in different sizes from 16 to 480 kW continuous output. Numerous additional features provide additional comfort. The control extension for emergency power units allows the control of the emergency power unit to be seamlessly integrated into the VARIO comfort control.

Cleaning trays

We offer a suitable cleaning tray for every HSR dehumidifier. It catches the water when cleaning the dehumidifier and drains it off accordingly.

Round bale drying channel

With the modular channel system, large quantities of round bales can be dried conveniently. The robust system can be extended as required.

Underfloor pressure channel

With the underfloor pressure channel, we offer a simple solution for building pressure channels under the floor grid. This protects them from a crane tine bite.

V- and Y-damper

For easy channel construction, HSR hay drying offers V-, Y-damper, diffuser and other channel elements in prefabricated construction.

Energy-saving modules

The VARIO central control can be extended with three energy-saving modules. These save you money with every drying run.
