As an innovator in modern hay drying, HSR has responded to rising energy prices and developed three new software modules over the last 24 months to reduce drying costs. With these software modules, savings can be achieved that greatly reduce the increased energy costs. This reduction will have a positive effect on your drying costs for a long time to come, because it saves you money with every drying process.
The following 3 modules are available:
MAX. PERFORMANCE MODE
The energy consumption is adapted to the drying progress.
The fan energy consumption can be reduced by up to 20%.

GREEN-MODE
Takes advantage of the capillary action of the plant and pauses drying for several hours. Weather data imported from national weather stations improve the drying process additionally. As a result, the total energy consumption of the drying process can be reduced by up to 15%.

PV-MODE
This feature gets even more out of your photovoltaic system. The VARIO comfort control responds to the available photovoltaic energy and adjusts the aeration phases accordingly.

Can I retrofit the modules to my existing control system?
Yes - from the VARIO/VARIO ELITE comfort control - Edition 2019, the three features can be retrofitted.
What are the requirements for the modules?
The software modules build on each other. For example, for the GREEN mode you need the Max. Performance feature. In addition, an HSR Connect module is a basic requirement for the weather import in GREEN mode. We will be happy to advise you which features offer the most added value for you and which requirements are necessary.
What do the modules cost?
Since the financial relief of our customers is an important aspect of our company motto "From the farmer for the farmer", we offer special introductory prices for the modules. This means that retrofitting pays off after just a few drying runs. For the current prices please contact HSR.
