Using your own Photovoltaic system represents the future of modern hay drying.

With the PV-MODE, the hay drying can be switched on or off depending on the solar radiation and the supplied power. The control system can respond individually to the current power output.

- Software module "MAX. PERFORMANCE" and "GREEN MODE"
- Photovoltaic system (incl. wiring of the current measuring transducer)
- This module can be purchased with the VARIO comfort control and VARIO ELITE comfort control. Retrofitting dehumidifier series VARIOe, VARIOs and VARIO ELITE with VARIO comfort control or VARIO ELITE comfort control from the 2019 series is also possible.

FAQ 1: Which size should a PV system be designed?
From the point of view of hay drying, we recommend dimensioning the kW output to be two to four times the required connected load of the hay drying system. This way, the PV system can deliver the required power even with indirect sunlight and slightly cloudy weather. In addition, a few kW more power is significantly cheaper than paying for a larger power connection from the energy supplier. In addition, you benefit from the extra kW of power every day.
FAQ 2: What are the requirements for the modules?
The modules are based on each other. For example, for the GREEN mode you need the Max. Performance module. In addition, an HSR Connect module is required for the weather import in GREEN mode.
FAQ 3: What do the modules cost?
