Green Mode
The GREEN MODE module takes advantage of the capillary action of the plant. Instead of drying the hay for the full duration with the fan and dehumidifier, drying is interrupted when falling below specific thresholds. This significantly reduces the active drying hours and the drying costs. The quality of the material to be dried remains unchanged at a high level.
In addition, the GREEN MODE module uses official weather data from national weather services. Based on the weather forecasts, the HSR VARIO comfort control manages the upcoming drying phases and shut-off times, thus ensuring cost savings while maintaining the same quality.
Savings potential:
The energy savings in pause mode and the weather-dependent control regulation offer a savings potential of up to 10% of the total power consumption.
Important notice:
The weather-dependent shut-offs do not change the calculated drying time. This means you still have full planning security for further cuts.

- HSR-Connect module with Internet connection
- Software module "MAX. PERFORMANCE"
- This module can be purchased together with the VARIO comfort control and VARIO ELITE comfort control. Retrofitting of the VARIOe, VARIOs and VARIO ELITE dehumidifier series with VARIO comfort control or VARIO ELITE comfort control from the 2019 series is also possible.
